thank you very much, Tiara! it went from hand easily, especially the modeling part -- almost by itself then reflections and lighting are probably what i put most "attention" into something like "emptiness" in the image that fills
thank you for your kind, motivating words, Larain! happy you find it tactile... sometimes i can keep balance between simplicity and these deeply layered, unfathomable spaces/worlds we are talking about, expressing as best we can... i liked your new journal! it's great to read artistic process, what you live now... wanted to comment, drifted off and now you are here. enjoy your weekend, wish you dancing floating creativity!
wow! and that would be 3D graphics... 3D! riddling about it, you know... riddling. musing, searching, drifting. there is this current underneath.
you have an amazing presence in your commenting. amazing. like a "Kanchan-avalanche"... feels. i'll learn from you. i find watching and commenting more important at dA than creating, just an opinion, and not up to it yet...
hey, grizato! thank you very much for visiting and commenting as always! i really appreciate that you tell me what you like as well as what you dislike. that balances your comment and makes it more helpful to me.
Ah! The horn from "Cornucopia" returns [link] . But this time with a lot more contrast with the background. I think it looks much more vivid here along with the reflection. Now I can really appreciate the details of the form and the smooth flowing curves.
hey, thank you, incognisance! very much to the point, i feel, and always happy about your comments.
it's funny, how in 3D, we can really pick up "old" meshes, or better: they might return, as you say. and in these wallpapers it's easy then to change dimensions. i'm maybe entering a new color scheme, will find out and see.
Yes Anna, only in 3d can you come back to an old project and find everything where you left it, and make changes easily. 3d affords many luxuries that are so often taken for granted. Only when we try out other forms of art do we realise how much easier it is to do some things in 3d.
Also, thanks a lot Anna, I wish you peaceful Holy Week as well.
